At Parsity, we’ve always believed that personalized support, whether technical or non-technical, is the key to helping our mentees land great jobs in tech. We work with each mentee individually to ensure they’re not just job-ready, but truly prepared for the realities of a career in software engineering.

Here’s a look at what we’ve achieved together.

Technical Job Search Preparation

We take technical interview prep seriously. That’s why we offer:

• 1:1 Mock Interviews with industry mentors who help mentees sharpen their problem-solving skills.

• Opportunities for mentees to work on real-world projects beyond their capstone, partnering with organizations that allow them to contribute directly to company codebases.

• Monthly Tech Talks where experienced software engineers share their knowledge and advice on the latest technical trends.

• A constantly updated curriculum, where we incorporate mentee feedback to ensure we’re always teaching the most relevant technologies.

Non-Technical Job Search Preparation

We know it’s not just about writing code – it’s about how you present yourself to potential employers. That’s why we offer:

• 1:1 Personalized Feedback on résumés, LinkedIn profiles, GitHub repositories, portfolios, and cover letters.

• Behavioral Mock Interviews to help mentees navigate the soft-skill side of the job search.

• Bi-weekly meetings with our Career Services Coach for individualized guidance.

• Company Introductions to provide networking opportunities with organizations we’ve built relationships with.

The Stats: A Transparent Look at Our Outcomes

Let’s talk numbers.

Between 2021 and 2023, we’ve had 55 mentees enroll in our part-time and full-time programs.

We are a very small program by design.

Of those, 43 mentees have secured jobs in tech-related roles. That’s a 78% overall placement rate. This includes full-time roles, apprenticeships, contract work, and adjacent jobs.
